Black Putter
Ping has an incredible number of choices of putters for golfers. I counted 176 different varieties of putters that are available in different types metals, inserts and other technologies. This does not count the 36 additional options that are available online to specify that allows golfers to mix, eg Before the Ping Anser putter with the back of a model of zing. So if a golfer has an idea on the type and style of putter you prefer, Ping probably have a solution. The philosophy is to offer putters Ping alignment model in the various technologies they have adopted. In other words, there is an Anser putter available in a single almost all series that are offered Ping. Each series of putters will use a metal or a combination metal, and add a certain type of putter face or other technologies. The company also has an assembly-line program which directs golfers to locate qualified installers putter. This Section describes the new series I and series Karsten and Redwood Series, and the JAS Craz-E One putter, another new product.
Ping i Series by
The i-series is a new line of putters that will be shipped to retailers until November 2007. All the putters in this product line will include a two piece, comprising a urethane insert with a thinner material on top of urethane. This technology is used to give good feedback to the player, in other words, his gentle and kind. There are a total of 10 models available technology with the Series I, including old standards like the Anser and Zing, as well as Piper, B60, Craz-E, ½ Craz-E and ½ Moon models.
Karsten Series
These putters, of course, the name of Karsten Solheim, who is the founder of Ping. Again, this is a brand new product line will begin shipping to retailers until October 2007. The faces of these putters are made of steel and an elastomer insert is added to the face in the contact zone with the ball. Weight has been redistributed to the perimeter of the clubhead which increases the club head moment of inertia (MOI), which adds forgiveness off center hits. These putters also have what is called multi-level alignment aid. The top edge fine rectangular and the putter contrasts with the lines provided in the back cavity to make alignment easier. There are seven models to offer, including Karsten Series anser, Anser 2, B60, B67, Zing, Craz-E, and models of Piper's head putter.
Redwood Series
This series is the name of Redwood City, California, where Karsten Solheim started working on putters in his garage, and this was the beginning of the Ping company. These putters are all milled stainless steel 303. Some players love the feel of a milled putter. Three traditional models are offered in this format, the Anser, Zing, and Piper.
The JAS Craz-E One
This is a new addition to the JAS line of putters. This stick has a form which closely resembles some of the two ball putters on the market today, but do not use balls as alignment aids. It has an alignment aid on its rectangular backplate great. The head is made of iron c805 of lightweight aluminum, and 4, the heavy weight of tungsten were added to the perimeter, which creates a high moment of inertia. In Indeed, the JAS Craz-E One has the highest MOI of any action on the Ping lineup, so that is why most forgiving putter in the product offering. The color is a deep black and has a modern look. I'd say it's quite attractive in the future.
