30 years ago, there were too many games of junior golf clubs that are real, and not many people buying components and making their own clubs neither. I found someone who did and had several old clubs cut down to my two children. My son must have been only 3 years, and his 9-iron has not shown much of the metal shaft: it was all grip! The head was very heavy, and really could not go to the club, such picked up the ball and shot at the club had an ax! The children went without, however, and always on when I suggested going to the field of practice to hit balls.
