Taylor Guitars has its official start in 1974 with its founders, Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug. However, the story begins much earlier than in the 60s when Beatles Popular music has led many people want to play the guitar. The founders were young then, but he began his love for the guitar on this hour.
Finally, the itching has led to buying a guitar shop with another friend, Steve Schemmer. The shop was small, and information on the Taylor Guitars website has revealed that he was less than ideal. Constantly dealing with water leaks and flooding. However, while the world must start somewhere! His beginnings were difficult and Rocky and the first workshop, which seems to mean.
Together, the three ran the store was then called the music company Westland. His initial idea of managing the company achieved sales of guitars and their parts, repair, construction, etc. They also decided to call his guitar line Taylors after Bob Taylor, the group achieved a luthier. Long story short, they finally succeeded in both. Now, his company employs over 300 people who all play different roles in the company. Kurt Listug is still very involved with the company as CEO. They manufacture 14 different styles of acoustic guitar, with multiple models in each category. They include Bob Taylor, the Head Luthier, 100-900 series, the presentation, Nylon series, the KOA, and the series of walnut.
There are also many artists who enjoy his Taylor acoustic guitars. These include Chris Procter, Pat Kirtley, Artie Traum, Wayne Johnson, Leo Klottke, Babyface, Faith Hill, Billy Idol, Stephen King, Better Than Ezra, and dozens of others.
